Ster Kinekor Arcades was officially opened by His Excellency President Levy Mwanawasa SC (late) on 11th December 2003. Presently Ster Kinekor is the market leader in the film/ movie entertainment industry in Zambia.

The brand offers what could be termed and a- la- carte menu of entertainment pleasure via its service offerings in its multiplex cinema namely, Arcades.

Executive Summary·

  • For the period (financial year) 2009/2010 there is need to develop and deliver an integrated synergistic 360 degree integrated, multi-discipline, brand based and consumer focused communication and marketing strategy for distilling the SK brand.

  • Aim is to increase Box Office sales and Catering Sales- CPP, by way of innovative marketing and selecting the best and appropriate marketing partners.

  • · The business needs to be operated very effectively, competitively and profitably by reducing on the costs of sales.

  • · Deploying and implementing strategies that reduce and where possible eliminating any variances- both cash and stock.

  • · Setting realistic goals to deliver excellent customer service, achievable performance management, maintaining good communication, setting up a reward and recognition system for staff.

  • · Maintaining a proactive stance on Staff (HR) matters, building a conducive environment for Teamwork.

  • · Compliant with all set process and procedures and setting up mechanisms to monitor and adherence of the system.
